Why I regard the 'Herald Sun' (the stamping ground of Andrew Bolt) as an impeccable journal of record.

... and let's go back to the sage words of John Hartigan (Chief Executive Officer of News Limited) telling us why we should believe publications like his own 'Herald Sun" rather than the inaccurate piffle on blogs.

"newspapers are not dead, and people will pay to read quality journalism that is "brilliantly written" and "professionally edited" : This is not the territory in which aggregator sites or amateur bloggers will do well. This is the natural terrain of the well-trained, professional, experienced, clever journalist."

"...people will pay to read quality journalism..."

Most of 'em will quite gladly pay to read total sh*t as well, it seems.

Tony Martin at The Scrivener's Fancy said that News Ltd putting up a paywall was like the racist bogan at the shopping mall charging you for his loudly expressed views. On sex fiends, presumably.

lol

Whose opinion regardless of the truth will bring more noses up his ass than the lesser educated but more honest ordinary blogger, whose knowledge extends beyond journalism.
